Star Cool - part of something bigger
The Star Cool organisation is geographically located in both
Denmark, China and Singapore. Having an organisation that is
spread over several countries demand a high level of communication,
and makes usage of modern technical communication means not
only necessary, but highly appreciated.
To make such an organisation work on a daily basis demands a
targeted effort from all in order to create a fully functioning
organisation equipped to tackle the challenges of a truly global
industry.
This has also contributed to the formation of a modern
decentralised flat organisation:
The Star Cool organisation is a part of Maersk Container
Industry, a company owned by the A.P.Moller - Maersk Group.
Maersk Container Industry AS started in 1991 in Denmark as a
manufacturer of dry containers. In 1995 the production was expanded
to include reefer containers. Maersk Container Industry AS has
since closed production in Denmark and established production of
both reefer and dry containers in China.
